ISOWARE do not support Internet Explorer 10 or any previous version of Internet Explorer.
Improvements and new features
Top menu layout change
The layout of the top menu has changed in version 9.0.0. This means that the menu items Start page,
Processes, Reports, Projects, Tasks and Addresses are now placed in a drop-down menu:
In addition, a shortcut menu has been added which allows you to create and edit various items:

The contents of the shortcut menu vary depending on which page you are on.
Dashboard
Each user now has access to a personal dashboard where the user can decide which content to display.
The dashboard can be found by selecting Dashboard from the top menu:
The first time the user activates the dashboard, a standard dashboard is generated, the content of
which is determined by the user's rights:

The dashboard is divided into rows and columns. A row can consist of up to 3 columns and there can
be any number of boxes in the row.
By clicking Edit in the top menu, the dashboard can be customized:

Rows and boxes can be moved by dragging and dropping.
Rows are added by clicking Add Row in the top menu.
Each row has its own toolbar:
Click on the + symbol to insert a new box in the row.
Click on the Recycle bin to delete the row and its contents.
The row settings are edited by clicking the gear symbol.
Insert a new box into the Dashboard
Click the + symbol in the row's toolbar.
This will add a new box to the row.

All new boxes start as Iframe boxes, ie. boxes where content from a URL can be displayed.
The box can be deleted by clicking the Recycle Bin.
The box settings are edited by clicking the gear symbol in the box toolbar:
A title (optional) can be inserted in the Title field. The title will appear on the dashboard at the top of
the box.
In the Type field, select the type of box you want. The following types can be selected:
• App icons – Short cuts to ISOWARE modules
• Links – A collection of links composed by you
• Iframe – Displays content from a URL
• Task info – Shows relevant information regarding tasks
• Process info – Shows relevant information regarding processes
• Process – Displays a process of your choice
• Project info – Shows relevant information regarding projects

• Report info – Shows relevant information regarding report
In addition to Title and Type, boxes of the Links type have the following fields:
Insert the text that the link should display in the Text box.
Insert a URL that points to the content to be linked to, e.g. http://www.isoware.dk, in the URL field.
The contents of the URL field can also be addresses pointing to ISOWARE resources.
Click the magic wand to get help for creating a URL pointing to ISOWARE resources.
If a URL that points to an ISOWARE search is selected, the Show Number of Search Results box will
appear:
If this box is checked, the number of search results will be displayed next to the link:

Click Add link to add the link to the box. Any number of links can be inserted, and the order can be
changed using drag and drop.
In addition to Title and Type, Iframe boxes have the following fields:
Insert a URL that points to the content to be displayed in the box, e.g. http://www.isoware.dk, in the
URL field.
The contents of the URL field can also be addresses pointing to ISOWARE resources.
The height of the Iframe is determined by inserting a number into the Height field.
In addition to Title and Type, Process boxes have the following fields:
Click Select link to select the process to display in the box.
Remember to click Save Changes to save the changes to the box.
Editing row settings in the Dashboard
Click the gear symbol in the row toolbar.
The maximum width of the row is specified in the Max width field.

The number of columns is specified in the No. of columns field.
Remember to click Save Changes to save the changes to the row.
Processes
Images with links
It is now possible to create a process that uses an image as a background. In the background image,
you can insert click fields containing links to other processes:

The process is created by opening the process module and selecting Create Process in the top menu.
Then select the Image with links process type.
The background image is created / replaced by clicking Upload background image. The image size
can be changed by dragging the edges.
Click fields are created by clicking Add link. This creates an empty click field in the upper left corner.
The click fields can be resized by dragging the edges.

In the Figure type field, you can choose between Rectangle and Ellipse. This determines the layout of
the click field.
In the Link to process field you can create a link to another process by clicking the link button.
If something is written in the Tooltip text field, this text will be displayed when the mouse is held over
the click field.
New search options
The Process module has a new search in the left menu:
Awaiting my review shows the processes that await the user's review
It is also possible to use the new column, Review needed, in your own searches.

Reports
Report Chart Generator
In the report module, the report chart generator has been expanded to control the size of the chart.
Furthermore, a link is now automatically created which can be used to generate the chart again. This
link may, for example. is inserted into an Iframe box on the user's Dashboard.
Charts are created by right-clicking on a search in the menu in the report module and choosing Create
Chart:

Insert a title in the Title field and select the form field that you want the create a distribution chart
from in Form field:

Different chart types can be selected in the Type field.
Width and height are given as integers in the Width and Height fields.
At the bottom of the image, a link to the chart that can be copied to the clipboard is generated by
clicking the icon to the left of the box. The link can then be used elsewhere, e.g. on the dashboard in an
Iframe box:

New search options
The Report module has a new search in the left menu:
The search searches for reports that have deadline fields whose date has been exceeded.
It is also possible to use the new column, Deadlines exceeded, in your own searches:

Data import for report tables from .csv files
In the data import function in report tables, it has now become possible to use .csv files.
Projects
New search options
The Project module has a new search in the left menu:
The search seeks out projects where deadlines have been exceeded or where progress is not
satisfactory.
It is also possible to use the new column, Progress, in your own searches.
