Improvements and new features

Changes to the short cut menu

The short cut menu now has direct access to create specific report types, if they are defined as

modules:

Global search field

The top menu now always has a search field:

The search field functions in two ways:

On the overview pages for processes, reports, projects, tasks and user modules the field works as

usual. The field only searches in the current module and you activate a search by entering a keyword

and pressing enter.

On all other pages the search field is global meaning that it searches in all the data that is available to

the currently logged on user.

The global search field searches continually while you enter keywords and presents the search results

in a drop-down list:

For each available module there is a heading displaying the name of the module together with the total

no. of hits. Clicking on the heading will lead you to the module where you will see the entire search

result.

Below each heading up to 5 additional results will be shown. Clicking on one of these will lead you

directly to the detail page for that item, for example a report.

Improved navigation

Navigation between modules has been improved to make it easier to get back when navigating from

one module to another.

Processes

Logo on top of processes

It is now possible to insert a logo on top of all processes in an organization.

The logo is set in the organization settings:

Process knowledge

You can now ask selected users to learn an approved process i.e. acknowledge that they have read and

understood the process.

You do this by opening a process and entering the Process knowledge window. The Process

knowledge window can be opened with the More > Process knowledge menu item:

A window now opens where you Add/Remove users that should read and understand the process:

The users receive a notification when added and the next time they open the process they will see the

The process knowledge list will reflect when users hit the Read and understood button:

A note will be inserted in the process notes when users acknowledge that have read and understood

the process.

If a new version of the process is created, the users will automatically be notified again, when the

process gets approved.

Change language on a process awaiting approval

When a process has status Awaiting approval it is now possible to quickly switch between the

available languages when viewing the process.

Hiding of column headers in Swimlanes

If there is no text in any of the column headers in Swimlanes, the headers will now be hidden.

Reports

Change combo boxes in to search field

Combo boxes and radio button fields with many choices can make reports slow to work with.

Therefore, it is now possible to change these to search boxes. These search boxes continually search as

you enter keywords and present a list of available results along the way:

Data import – Possibility to search in all columns

When using the data import function in system settings that can import data from external databases,

it was subsequently only possible to search the column displayed in the selection fields. This has now

been changed to allow free text search as well as create saved searches with all columns from the

import.

Data tables – Possibility to search in all columns

When using tables as data source for report fields, it was subsequently only possible to search the

column displayed in the selection fields. This has now been changed to allow free text search as well as

create saved searches with all columns from the table.

User management

User blocked – display status

The system automatically deactivates users that enter a wrong password more than 10 times.

The cause of the deactivation is now shown in user management

New search - All users

In user management it is now possible to display a list showing all users from all organizations. The

search is only visible if you have access to multiple organizations.

System notifications

It is now possible to insert the [RECEIVER_FULL_NAME] tag in all system notifications.

You could for example start the message with:

Dear [RECEIVER_FULL_NAME]

If the receivers name is Robert Smith the notification sent to the receiver would then start with:

Dear Robert Smith

Defects

 Project overview failed when users had a specific combination of permissions

 Report template translation would not open in Google Chrome

 In some situations, it was not possible to attach a sub-report to a report

 Import / Export of the process type Image with links in some cases did not work

 When using the AdBlock browser plugin, Active Directory settings could not be displayed

 An error on the Change password page made changing the password difficult

 By clicking on Dashboard - Report Info - You have x open reports you were taken to the Open

reports search. This has changed so that you are now directed to My Reports

 Translation errors

 Error in the process link creation window

 Search algorithm changed in processes to search for the latest available version instead of just

the latest version

 Missing notifications for users with process competences in new version of process.

 Links to reports in emails send from ISOWARE to external users did sometimes not work
